Bryan, David and Catherine attended the graduation dinner for the 120 RYLArians, which was held at Willow Park Christian Convention Centre at Eastern Beach on Friday 7th July. Our Club selected Crystal to attend the seven night, eight day course. Crystal did very well as the joint MC for the evening. One of the highlights was Captain Darren Young from the NZ Army who provided a wonderful stage show which had everyone laughting. We also had a presentation from District Governor Malini Raghwan and the Governor Genreal Dame Patsy Reddy GNZM QSO. Lt. Colonel Jon Atkinson presented the Army Awards to RYLA participants. If you get the opportunity to attend a RYLA graduaton dinner, it is well worth attending. We look forward to seen Crystal at our Club soon to tell us herself how much she enjoyed and gained from her RYLA experience. In the meantime, Crystal has asked us to pass on this message.
