A Growing Unit for the Trees For Survival Project at Tamaki Primary School was delivered.
The Growing Unit is in a fenced area in the middle of the playground next to the vege garden and sandpit. Being in such a central area, it will attract a lot of interest. While we were at the School when the Unit was delivered, people were coming up to us asking what is going into this area. Roy Kelly is a student teacher at Tamaki Primary and is going to be responsible for the Trees For Survival Programme. Roy is going to join Dilworth Junior School on their Planting Out day next Thursday 3rd August.
It is great to see this project being one step closer to being up and running.
