Archana is the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hotel Pullman.  She has spent 20 years working in hotels, starting in India.  Archana loves visiting and staying in hotels, observing customer service.  At one hotel that Aarchinya stayed at, the people at the hotel found out that she really enjoys watching cricket.  A note was left in her room letting her know that the cricket match is at 6.30pm tonight on Channel 12.  This is the human connection in action.

The best hotel that Archana has stayed at recently, was a Distinction Hotel near Whangarei Falls.  The people at this Hotel followed exactly what she had asked for.
 
Most hotels have a Loyalty Programme.  Become a Loyalty member to reap the rewards.  There is often a 10 - 15% gap for booking directly through a hotel rather than throough Expedia.
