Our Club is one of 13 Clubs in RCG – 6 and Malcolm has been in the role of Leader for the last year. Community Groups of Rotary Clubs are a key component of the Regionalisation Pilot in Rotary South Pacific (formerly Zone 8).
We have asked Malcolm explain how this new arrangement has worked in practice, the successes and the lessons learned so far, and what is expected of Clubs in the 2025- 2026 year.

The nomination for the Club’s leadership team for 2025- 2026 year that was notified to members 2 weeks ago has not resulted in any other nomination. Members will be asked to vote to approve the leadership team for the 2025-2026 year, being Co-Presidents Bryan Haggitt and Wayne Brewer, Secretary Kay Brookes, and Treasurer Bruce Howe.
Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Students - Melanie and Amelia
A big thank you to Club member Vinny Sabe for putting his fine tailoring skills to work on the travel blazer of our RYE Student Melanie. It truly is an impressive result and will be on full display in Rotorua at the District Conference, and on her return to Denmark in the middle of June – just 2 months away!
