Combined Rotary Meeting with Auckland East Rotary
Monday May 20th - from 5.30pm at Good George, Mission Bay

Cost is $32 per person plus bar.
The speaker is Dennis Millard who started the Tour Aotearoa – a 3,000km bike ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
If you do not intend to attend this meeting, please enter your apology via Club Runner asap.
An indicative number of attendees from our club is required by May 15th and final numbers are required by 10am Friday 17th May.
Please ensure your apology is entered otherwise you will be charged $32 as usual.

Fishing , Golfing, Cultural Weekend Kawhia'
Options 29/ 30/1st December, or just 30th Nov / 1st December.( Friday and Saturday nights or just Saturday night)
Fishing Saturday 29th November from 2.30 pm returning 6.30 pm on Board MV Clansman.
Cost pp $140.00 pp plus $20.00 rod hire and $20.00 bait or provide own rods. Note. Fishing grounds are through the Kawhia Bar in the Tasman Sea.
Golf  Available either Saturday or Sunday on Kawhia Golf Club links course.
Cultural Explore local Maori history, guided, where Tainui canoe landed, how it got there, where  it moored and where is it now. Visit a local Marae and the history of Tainui Kawhia Incorporation from its Chairman Wayne Brewer including a tour of the forest, its historical sights, its formation  and  future projects.
Accommodation The Sands of Kawhia is a new 4 star hotel. Rooms about $300.00 night but alternative., Motel options available.
Meals at the Sands but a traditional Hangi ( for Dinner ) could be arranged.
If you are interested in participating in this Club Fellowship weekend please talk to or email Wayne with your requirements / interests.
Open to family and friends. 
Bookings for accommodation at The Sands is limited first in first served. Some activities will depend on numbers attending and weather.
Travel Kawhia is about 200km's or 2.5 hours from Auckland by private car (own arrangements)
