Salvation Army food parcel packing:

We have an ongoing commitment to pack at Salvation Army on the first Tuesday of the month.

Ross Forrester is seeking members to assist with packing Tuesday 1 December at 16 Bakerfield Place, Manukau, Auckland 2104.

Next Fellowship Walk - Sunday 15 November

Shakespeare Park, Gulf Harbour

at 09:30am (note later start)

Suitable for ALL members, family and friends

Meet at Waterfall Gully Carpark. It takes 45 minutes to drive from Auckland Harbour Bridge. If you want to car pool please arrange amongst yourselves.

Main walk is to the Lookout. 1 hour return, 2.5k, elevation approximately 90m

The initial part is in bush, then open fields to the Lookout.

However, the walk can be shortened e.g. waterfall (approximately 15 minutes) or anywhere along the track (the hihi or stitchbird feeding station is a pleasant place to stop). It’s spring and the birds are vocal!

Option for stronger walkers to return by an alternative walk, approximately 1.5 hour from the Lookout.

Non-walkers: Te Haruhi Bay has a nice beach and would be good place for a picnic lunch. The walkers on return to Waterfall Gully Carpark can then drive round to the Bay and join the non-walkers for lunch.

Let’s cruise New Zealand in our own bubble!

Ponant has a 10 day private charter cruise from Dunedin to Auckland departing on 30^th January 2021. They are bringing down ‘Le La Perouse’, the ship with the Blue Eye Lounge.

2020 has been a tough year with so many of us suffering lockdown restrictions. If you have not been able to cruise this year think about this luxury yacht cruise around New Zealand that combines the highest standard of understated French and Scandinavian influenced décor and service. I was on board this yacht earlier this year and can highly recommend it.
