President's Message
member photo
It was nice to welcome Becky Giblin, the Rotoract Communications Co-ordinator for the Oceania Zone 8b which covers 14 nations.

Thank you to all those members who participated in our first meeting of the year dedicated to Committee Meetings.  It was wonderful to see the Committee groups gathered together discussing goals etc. for the coming year.  I appreciate that time was a bit short for everything you wanted to discuss and we will make some changes to allow more time for our next dedicated Committee Meeting evening on Monday 12th August.  I look forward to reading the Committee Chair reports prior to our Board Meeting on Monday 22nd July.

Have a great week and see you on Monday with our Guest Speaker, Paul Goldsmith.

Snap Speaker - Jim Bradley

Jim is a consulting engineer, specialising in municipal wastewater throughout New Zealand. Most of his working life was spent in Dunedin. He told us of his three most interesting jobs and his latest overseas five week adventure, visiting where his grandfather and father served in Gallipoli and Crete respectively.

The four way test
of the things we think, say or do
1. Is it the truth?  2. Is it fair to all concerned?  3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?  4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
