Open Forum: “Growing Club Membership”

The Club has not inducted a new member for at least 18 months, and in that time we have lost a few. Time cannot be wasted with this critically important issue in front of us. This is why next week’s meeting is devoted to it.

Each member present will be asked to write down 1 idea that they favour on a slip of paper. With all the slips are place in the hat, they will be drawn out for a short discussion on each.

The forum will end by prioritizing membership growth strategies for consideration by the incoming Board and Membership Lead Jim Holmes.

Club Leadership 2025 -2026

The nomination for the Club’s leadership team for 2025- 2026 year that was notified to members on 27^th March did not result in any other nomination.

With the notification period now expired, members present accepted the appointment of the leadership team for the 2025-2026 year, being Co-Presidents Bryan Haggitt and Wayne Brewer, Secretary Kay Brookes, and Treasurer Bruce Howe. Changeover will be on Monday 9th June 2025.

Co-President Elects Bryan Haggitt and Wayne Brewer invite all Members to submit your preferred roles for 2025/26. With many changes taking place within our Rotary world and a lower Membership, every Member needs to be active in some way or on a Committee. There will be two Committees. Below is a list of the leadership team plus roles available:
