Rotary Remuera donated a 3D printer to Tamaki Primary School and they are very excited.
President Norman was at the School for the handover. David Matthews from Ricoh set the printer up connecting it to the School computer and gave the Principal Rhonda Kelly a demonstration as to how to use the printer.  One of the Year 4 boys also joined in and was super excited as to what this printer can do.  At the Board meeting on Wednesday,  Rhonda mentioned that the School has already made an articulated fish and is looking forward to using this digital technology to expand childrens knowldege.  Rhonda recognises the value that this technology offers and is very grateful to our Club for donating this Printer to their School.  A demonstration is going to be given to the Board at the August meeting.
