Induction of New Members Karen Robichaud and Ross Forrester.
Jim Holmes introduced Karen Robichaud and Ross Forrester to the Club.
Until January this year Karen has spent her entire life in New Brunswick, on the East Coast of Canada.
Karen is civil engineer with a Masters degree in Transportation Engineering and Business. With her two sons living their own lives, Karen and her partner Jamie decided to set out on an overseas experience that would enhance her skills in Asset management. Karen is looking forward to being part of Rotary.
Ross is former Rotarian and was a member of the Rotary Club of Howick until 2001.
Ross started his own computer company 9 years ago and moved into education support using computers. He was the recipient of a new heart 9 years ago. He is currently teaching Computer manager at Sacred Heart College.
Charles Goldie spoke to the new members about how Rotary is worldwide organisation with over 1 million members and that they are now a part of that organisation.
