Bruce Howe updated the club about our Digital Display Advertising Programme in New World Remuera
Fellow club member Bruce Howe spoke to us about the Digital Display Advertising Programme at Remuera New World which is an important source of raising funds for our Club.
With the support of Adrian Barkla from New World in Remuera, a 75" TV screen has been installed in front of the checkout area and a series of notices and paid advertisements are shown on rotation. The screen is used as a free Community Noticeboard promoting local events, for Rotary self promotion and for paid advertising.
Stanley Armon was thanked for the huge amount of time and effort he has put into selling advertising spots however he is no longer able to commit to doing this on his own and we have been asked to approach businesses in the area with a view to selling space. Handouts were made available to everyone and Stanley advised that he is happy to step in to close the deal once a company has shown interest in participating.
We need to get more advertisers in order to maximise the potential of this important revenue stream.
