Our club values working together for the benefit of the community. Rotary Remuera Members take part in a 'Cooked Breakfast' programme for Salvation Army residents at Epsom Lodge.
The Salvation Army get a budget of $6.00 per day to provide three meals to each resident, so, a Bacon and Egg cooked breakfast is greatly appreciated . The lodge houses over 90 residents, mostly males and a few females and youths. Members valued the experience cooking in a commercial kitchen with the new steam oven and engaging with the Epsom Lodge residents.
Beyond the cooked breakfast programme during Christmas 2016, Rotary Remuera purchased, wrapped and delivered residents a small Christmas gift.
